Red Rat.
('cause all work and no play makes Jack a bastard)

This little number was an ale we brewed to commemorate the nuptials of two of our favorite Stumptonians (Atway Hernandez and Jana Gay).  We first tapped it just prior to the ceremony for a little liquid courage.  Initially brewed as a one-off batch, it proved popular with the regulars so has become one of our seasonals.
We use both nuggets and cascades  which lends a distinctive hop character and offsets the slightly sweeter finish (final gravity of 1.018) of this non-traditional amber.
It's malt character comes from a combination of Great Western high colour and two row pale malts, some crystal malt, and ... to kick the lovibond up a notch ... a few handfulls of black malt (Bam!).
